Breaks down leftover feed & waste: very effective at speeding up the biological decomposition of leftover shrimp feed, feces, and dead plankton settling on the pond bottom
Breaks down resistant cellulose: contains special enzymes that can break down the cellulose cell walls of leftover feed or shed shrimp exoskeleton from molting, which ordinary bacteria usually struggle to decompose
Prevents H2S formation: stops uncontrolled anaerobic decomposition that produces hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S / rotten-egg gas), ammonia, and nitrite, all highly lethal to shrimp
Removes sediment odor: neutralizes the pungent smell of pond sludge, creating a much healthier bottom environment for shrimp, which are demersal (bottom-dwelling) animals
